I just purchased the TRE-7015 Trebleet eGPU enclosure for use with my RTX3060. Everything is connected and powered up, but my ROG Strix is no detecting the device after installing the RTX3060 drivers and connecting the thunderbolt cable between the enclosure and my laptop. Looking for some help. Do I need a driver specific to the TRE-7015 to be able to connect, or is it something else? Appreciate any help you can give.

Hello Joshua,
Thank you for reaching out to us. We're sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your TRE-7015 eGPU enclosure.
Let’s troubleshoot the problem together.
Could you please provide the following details?
Laptop Model & GPU Details – What is the exact model of your computer? Also, which brand and model of RTX 3060 are you using?
Operating System – What OS and version are you running?
Connection Details:
What cable are you using to connect the enclosure to your laptop?
Have you confirmed that your Thunderbolt 3 driver is up to date?
GPU & Power Check:
Is the GPU securely seated in the PCIe slot? (A loose connection can prevent detection.)
Is the GPU receiving power when the eGPU is turned on?
Thunderbolt Detection:
On Windows: Please check the Thunderbolt Control Center App—does the eGPU appear there?
On macOS: Go to Apple Menu > About This Mac > More Info, then check for a Thunderbolt entry in the left sidebar. Let us know if the eGPU is listed.
Power Issues (If applicable):
If the eGPU powers off unexpectedly, try removing the GPU and see if the enclosure still shuts down without it.
Can you check and provide the Total Graphics Power (TGP) of your RTX 3060? You can use this guide for reference.
Intel Thunderbolt Controller Update:
Have you checked for any available updates for the Intel Thunderbolt Controller Driver? (This is a common cause of eGPU detection issues on Windows.)
Let us know the above details, and we’ll be happy to assist you further. Looking forward to your response.
