My CFexpress Card Reader, USB 3.1 Gen 2 10Gbps will not connect to my new Lenovo laptop. It constantly cycles between connect and disconnect. The reader works fine on my other computers. Any ideas?
To be sure, use the same cables on other computers, if the same issue is not occurring there, then the cause to the issue would most probably be the power issue. Do let us know if there's anything else we could do for you. =)
Speaking of possible cause of the constant disconnection to be insufficient power supplied to the card reader. It could also be the USB 3.0 port of the Lenovo laptop has been a little worn off and the power being supplied by it is lower than how it is supposed to be.

Tried another USB-C:USB-C cable as well as a USB-C:USB-A cable and no luck with either. Perhaps it is the power issue. I will try Lenovo support.

Try to connect a Lenovo notebook (above usb3.0) with a different data cable. Many unrecognized situations are caused by insufficient power supply.
