Hi I just ordered the newer Mac Mini Thunderbolt 3 dock with two M.2 slots. I plan to put in a Gen4 drive (Western Digital) in the Gen4 slot.
If I attach an external (Gen 2 SSD) drive to the USB-C port, or one of the other USB ports, do any of these disable the use of the other M.2 slot?
If not, trying to figure out what I can put in that other M.2 slot. Would a Crucial P3 4TB PCIe Gen3 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD possibly work? This is a Gen3 but they inicate backward compatibility to Gen2. I understand that you can’t guarantee anything, but want to know if you already know it won’t work. I checked the compatibility list by the way....
Thanks much.
Seasonal cleaning is another popular service offered by Toronto maid companies. As the seasons change, homes often require a more thorough cleaning to address issues like accumulated dust, allergens, and clutter. Spring and fall are particularly common times for deep cleaning. Maid services can tackle tasks such as cleaning windows, carpets, and upholstery, as well as organizing and decluttering spaces. This seasonal refresh helps homes house cleaners toronto feel rejuvenated and prepares them for the upcoming weather changes.
Hi there, The external drive should work and it should not affect any of the M.2 slot. =) Both the M.2 slots in our Mac Mini Dock are all of Gen3 specs. It's just that one of it is running on Thunderbolt 3 mode and the other is running on USB Mode. Hope the above clarifies~ =)
