Hello all. Was looking for advice. I’ve bought a four nvme slot enclosure, I’ve filled in with 2x4tb WD SN850x + 2x256gb (raid 0).
The problem I am having is that both the 4tb disks are consistently above 70 Celsius degrees in temp, if I use/write data consistently to either of them they go really fast up to 85-90 Celsius degrees, yielding in slower speeds and sometimes MAC OS disconnects them. All 4 nvmes were applied with the blue thermal pads.
Is there any way to improve heat dissipation? Should different thermal pads be applied? With this hot summer how can the overall temperature of the enclosure be kept cooler? It even gets too hot to touch
Hello there, May I know which is the version of 4-slot SSD Enclosure have you purchased there? Mind to share a pic here and let us see how we can assist you from there? Best regards,
