Hi, I almost love the thunderbolt 4 nvme enclosure, after much searching the price and performance are great. The only issue I have is heat. The nvme drives I am useing 4x Crucial P3 4TB do not reach the heatsink with the included heat transfer pads. Also the otherside of the controller board and case gets very hot in the 60C+ range. If I take the board out of the case with the nvme disks sitting on the heat sink case bottom, it works amazing. Much quieter and everything stays in the < 40C range even under load. I have ordered extra thermal pads to make it think enough, included pads are 1mm and gap is 2mm. Will see if that is enough to fix it. Otherwise I am tempted to drill a hole above fan to allow it to pull in cool air easily and quietly. Or 3D print a new top half of the case with more air flow to keep things cool. It is such a beautifly made product I really don't want to mess with it. So checking I am not missing anything. Thanks

Thank you so much for the feedback, Jesper. We always welcome that, as they're valuable to us. In order for us to understand the issues that you're having there, would you mind taking some pics or vids to share with us here? So that we'll get a better visual before we advise from there? Normally the heat dissipation pads would do the trick, but from the message above, it seems like the pads are not thick enough to be sandwiched in an intact manner between the drive and the heatsink. Would be great if we could get a visual and let us assist you further from there. Hope to hear from you again soon. =)
